The Society was founded in June 1999 in Sarajevo. Membership is open to all who agree the Society's doctrinal statement and goals (available on request).
The Society's affairs are overseen by:

Tomislav Dobutović and David Lively also serve as Board members.
As time goes on, we will be updating this website with more information about the Bible Society and our translation project.

OF FAITH STATES:
We believe:
in the inspiration and inerrancy of the Holy Scriptures as the Word of God which is the final authority for faith and life
in one God who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit
in the divinity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, His miracles, His representative and reconciling death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection and ascension to the righthand of the Father, and His soon return in power and glory,
in the sinfulness of all people and their need of salvation through the new birth, and that salvation is a free gift of God, independent of our works and that it is possessed by all who, by repentance and faith, receive the Lord Jesus Christ as personal Savior
in the ministry of the Holy Spirit who equips Christians to live a godly life and overcome the attacks of the evil one, Satan.
in the bodily resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous, the eternal blessedness of the saved and the eternal punishment of the lost
in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
